RE appt

I am not sure where to start. This appointment was so anticipated, I think that it was so normal that it was a let-down. We went in for the bloodwork on Wednesday. This included an STD screen for both of us. This drove me crazy. While I was positive that there was no chance that we had AIDS, can you ever be too sure? We were glad to find out that we are all clear, however neurotic that sounds.

Dr. G did the SHG today, as well as the trial embryo transfer. All in all, this was not too bad. The only glitch to the day was to find out that my FSH was in the higher part of normal. While 10 is the cut-off for normal, I tested at 9.5. Dr. G was not concerned, but did raise the dose of Gonal-F from 225u to 300u to start out with.

It's getting close

Without too many details, we are getting closer. George and I go in for our CD3 bloodwork on Wednesday, and the SHG is on Friday. If everything goes as planned, I should be starting Lupron on April 14, with a tentative date (from my calculations) on May 4 for the transfer. I should know if this worked by Mother's Day!
