The doctors have proposed a new plan, and I am very apprehensive to say the least. They want to admit Grant for 2-3 days to insert a PICC line. They can then start TPN feeds. This will tell us if the problem is with Grant's body metabolizing food, or if it is his gut digesting food.
I am scared.

Oh Shawna that is scary. I wish there was some miracle method that would just figure out WTH is up with little Grant without all of this crazy invasive stuff. Since there isn't though, I'll continue hoping that they figure it out SOON! ((hugs))
I've been reading along even though I haven't really been commenting. I hope the new plan at least provides some answers for you. Hang in there.
I don't really have anything to say that I know will help, I'm sorry. It just makes me so sad to know you and your family are going through this. Hopefully they figure it out soon.
